Video, 14'' TV, plinth. Variable dimensions
The piece consists of a TV monitor placed at eye level in a darkened room. The content of the video shown is taken from the noise found between channels in analogue TV broadcasts. Processing of the brightness has transformed what remains of the white noise into a nearly black surface. At first the darkened room appears empty, after a while a faint light trace is perceived, similar to an after-image, from the TV screen; when the eyes adapt, the movements that have been registered become visible.
